In May 2001, we discovered four orphaned baby raccoons. One was on the ground and three others were in the hollow of a giant maple tree. The mother had been hit by a car while crossing the road just a few feet away. We called the county wildlife agent who told us to bring them to their facility. Before transporting the babies to the center, we videotaped them with a Sony Digital 8 camera. Then we made a movie to share with students and teachers around the world.
