ALL 5-12 who participate in district and State science days are expected to complete research plans prior to beginning their research. Modifications in the plans are permitted during the process of the research. A research plan should be included in the
student's research report and displayed with the project. Please do not send research plans to The Ohio Academy of Science.
Students in grades 9-12 who expect to compete in a Regional Fair or
one of the Buckeye Science & Engineering Fairs leading to the International Science & Engineering Fair (ISEF) MUST complete a special Research Plan on the form contained in the ISEF Rules. There are NO exceptions. You may obtain a copy of the ISEF Rules for $1.25 from Science Service, 1719 N Street NW, Washington D.C. 20036. Phone (202) 785- 2255.
