
Hypertext Markup Language formats items in a document so a Web browser can read them. This allows you to publish on the Web.HTML uses tags to do this formatting. The tags work in pairs - one to begin < >, the other to end < /> . Tags can be typed in upper or lower case letters. You can use a word processing program or an HTML editor to construct a home page.
